Winter Sangria Ornament Recipe —
For every 1 bottle of red wine, add

- 1/4th cup of orange liqueur
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 cup of cranberries
- 3-4 cinnamon sticks
- optional - 1/4 cup of brandy

Before serving, add fresh cranberries rosemary to a glass for garnish, and then pour the sangria into clear ornaments!

Families create altars in their homes to welcome the spirits of their loved ones, adorning them with photos, favorite foods, and drinks as heartfelt offerings. 

🌼Flor de Muerto
Marigolds are believed to be the pathways that guide the spirits to the ofrendas with their vibrant color and scent.

💀 La Catrina 
One of the most iconic symbols of Día de Muertos, La Catrina, is a tall female skeleton  symbolizing that death is universal - not something to fear, but a natural part of life’s cycle to be celebrated. 

🧡 Papel picado 
Delicate tissue paper decorations, carved with intricate designs, serve as a symbol of life’s fragility. 

🪔 Festivities 
The holiday is not somber — it’s a joyful celebration of memory and life. Communities hold parades, musical performances, and decorate in vivid colors.
