Went on a Foods of Flushing food tour to explore the largest Chinatown in New York and try a bunch of foods we had never had before! Viator has over 300,000 travel experiences and millions of real travel reviews — I always use them when we’re looking for unique things to do so I knew my stomach was in for a real treat. 😛

Running has taught me commitment and resiliency in

Running has taught me commitment and resiliency in ways I didn’t know before, and forced me to show up for myself in ways I didn’t think I could. But more importantly, it was a reminder of the journey and not the destination 🥹🏃🏽‍♀️💨

I’m so grateful for everyone that ran with me, trained with me, jumped with me, offered me guidance and advice and I’m just so lucky that the running community showed up for me. In 6 months time, I went from huffing, puffing and barely finishing a 13-minute one mile to running a consistent 11-minute split for 26 straight miles. It wouldn’t be possible without my friends and community along the way 😭

All the early mornings, the hard work, the dreaded training just to get to this moment 🥹 can’t believe I’m saying it, but I caught the bug! 🐛 see ya at the next race!!

Never thought I’d say this, but this was one of the best days of my life. I think I cried like 4 times on the course hehe. Thank you, New York 🤍🗽 @nycmarathon
